British F1 Legend Jim Clark, considered by many to be one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time, inspects his steering wheel on the grid before the start of the 1966 Dutch GP in Zandvoort. Clark finished 3rd to eventual victor Jack Brabham. The incredible access to the drivers and teams is a trademark feature of Rainer Schlegelmilch's incredible Formula 1 photography.
Clark is wearing an open face helmet with googles and a cloth to cover the rest of his face. Incredible knowing how unsafe and dangerous Formula 1 was during those times.
